Dear Sir,
I inspected your facility, D'Angelo, at 388 King Street, on May 31st in accordance with the
Massachusetts State Building Code (780 CMR) §110.
The building is generally well maintained and in good condition. You and your staff deserve credit
for keeping such a nice building.
I did note a few minor deficiencies.
• Within the janitor's closet I viewed exhaust ducts above the ceiling with joints taped with
duct tape. The duct tape needs to be removed and replaced with foil tape.
• The ceiling tiles need to be reinstalled without voids.
• The water heater appears to be spilling exhaust into the closet, while some amount of
spillage is normal on start up, the rust on the top of the unit indicates there may be an
excess of spillage. This unit should be draft tested to assure safe operation.
