RE: Complaints of unsanitary living conditions from co- owners and emergency services
Dear Ms. Morrison:
Please be advised that I have received several complaints regarding the unsanitary conditions in
your home, specifically: excessive clutter, blocked exits, and poor housekeeping. These conditions
are serious and could endanger or materially impair your health, safety, and well -being as per
105CMR 410.000: State Sanitary Code Chapter II: Minimum Standards of Fitness for Human
Habitation.
On July 2", 2008, our city health inspector, Timothy Maginnis, attempted to conduct an inspection
of your home located at 15 Lyman Road. You would not allow him entrance, but he left you his card
and you agreed to call him to schedule an appointment. In speaking with you outside he noticed
your porch was excessively cluttered.
On July 8 2008 our city health inspector, Timothy Maginnis, made another attempt to inspect your
home, but again you would not allow him entry.
I am scheduling a Board of Health inspection of your home on Wednesday, July
23rd at I lam. If for any reason we are unable to enter your home on Wednesday, July 23r 2008
we will pursue an administrative search warrant through the Western Massachusetts Housing Court
to inspect your property.
