I have reviewed the most recent building plans. We still need information showing compliance with the stretch energy code (2009 IECC and 780 CMR appendix 115AA); specifically section 502 and tables 502.2 and 502.3 for windows and doors, section 503 for building mechanicals, section 504 for service water heating and section 505 for electrical power and lighting systems. We will also need testing reports as required by appendix 115AA section 503.2.9. Some of these reports must be presented prior to the certificate of occupancy. Once we have the steel drawings, I would be willing to extend the foundation permit to include the steel frame if the energy conservation info is not available. I am also waiting for Fire Department approval for the sprinkler system; I don't know if Warehouse Mechanical has been in touch with them directly but I haven't seen any plans. Tactile warning strips shall be provided at the ADA ramps crossing the driveway and shall be added to the ADA Wheelchair Ramp detail. 14. The gravel base material for sidewalks shall be processed gravel (M1.03.1, 2 -inch max stone size). 15. A trench detail for sewer pipe shall be added to the plan sheets. Sewer pipe within the right of way shall be embedded with 3/4 -inch crushed stone (M2.0 1.4) with a minimum of 6-inch bedding and 6- Inch cover over the pipe. 16. The sewer manhole detail should be accurately labeled as such and not as a storm manhole. 17.
