Dear Sandra,
As you know, the Northampton Water Department found a leak about a month ago on a water service line that
supplies water to a property that you own at 348 Westhampton Road Florence Ma. We discussed on the phone
that the leak was clearly located past the City -owned valve, which dictates ownership. I had also informed you
that because of the location of the leak, it was your responsibility to fix the leak. Please respond to this letter
immediately to inform us of your intentions to have the line fixed. If we do not hear from you within thirty (30)
days and the pipe is still leaking, we will be forced to terminate the City water supply to your house.
