Dear Mr. Saltmarsh, 1 ' As requested I have reviewed the existing roof structure and design loading per project prints Iiiiiill provided. An evaluation of the proposed addition of panels determined the design snow load and panel weight would now be a concentrated load at each connecting clip to the roof purlins. It will be necessary to add 14 gauge 4 inch studs such as 3 5/8 CEE 14 by Dale/Incor per the attached sketch in order to prevent web crippling at the panel clip points. The web stiffening studs shall follow the panel support channels and connect at each clip load.
