These items need to be accomplished before uncovering your pool.
1. The pool locks must be 54" above the bottom of the door or gate.
2. Doors leading into the fence enclosure must be alarmed.
3. See the enclosed swimming pool code requirements. Additional building codes can be found as
read only files at www.mass.qov/dps/bbrs. The current versions are 2009 IRC, 2009 IBC, 2009
IECC, 2009 IEBC, 2009 IMC. See the IBC section 3109 for pools.
