MA Addendum No. 3 May 24, 2011 This addendum is issued for the purpose of amending the requirements of the contract documents and is hereby made a part of the contract drawings and specifications
to the same extent as though it were fully incorporated therein. This addendum consists of two (2) pages, including this page. There are no attachments for a total of (2) pages. GENERAL:
Item No. 1: New Bid Date: The bid date for all bids will be changed to Friday, May 27, 2011 at 10:00 am at the City of Northampton Central Services. The bids will be publicly opened
on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 1:30 pm at the Senior Center. Item No. 2: Clarification: Underslab drainage and foundation drainage for the new building shall be provided by the Site work
contractor. Item No. 3: Clarification: Excavation and backfill for underground work shall be provided by the Sitework contractor. Item No. 4: Clarification: Penetration firestopping
shall be provided by Construction Manager through a non-trade contractor. The HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Electrical contractors are not responsible for penetration firestopping
of their work. SPECIFICATIONS: Item No. 5: Supplemental Requirements 010000; Delete: Any items requiring alternates. Alternates are not required for Trade Contractor bids. Item No. 6:

contractor shall list the sub-sub contractor or contractors on the Prequalified trade contractor Bid Form as indicated in Addendum #2. Replace: In Item D, replace reference to a “single
firm/company” to “Security System and Communication System sub-sub contractor or contractors” DRAWINGS: Item No. 12: Drawing L-2,Layout Plan Change: The new transformer shall be 10’
0” clear from the northeast corner of Stair B. Change the 5’ 10” dimension to 10’ 0”. Item No. 13: Drawing L-2,Layout Plan Add: Four steel bollards around the transformer. One bollard
shall be provided and installed at each corner of the transformer pad. The final location of the bollards shall be coordinated with the electrical contractor & the door openings of the
transformer. The steel bollards shall be as shown in detail 12 on L-4 and shall be painted. Item No. 14: Drawing A-701 ,Room Finish Schedule & Floor Pattern Dtls: Clarification: See
