Dear Mrs. Moulton,
I have spoken with the inspectors in office and no one told Mrs. Brisbois that it would be okay to spray
anything onto bushes extending on her side of the property line. The information that we provide in
cases like this is that if a tree or brush has branches that extend past property lines onto your property
you have right to trim those branches or bushes, we also caution that if you do cut back the branches to
such an extent that plant /tree /brush dies you could be found liable in a civil suit.
This information has been consistently given over the past10 years at least.
