Under the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act
and the Northampton Wetlands Ordinance
In accordance with the second paragraph of the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 131,
Section 40, you are hereby notified of the following:
The name of the applicant is: City of Northampton Department of Public Works.
The applicant has filed a Notice of Intent with the Northampton Conservation Commission for
seeking permission to remove, fill, dredge or alter an Area Subject to protection Under the
Wetlands Protection Act (General Laws Chapter 131, Section 40) and the Northampton
Wetlands Protection Ordinance (Chapter 337).

Copies of the Notice of Intent may be examined at the Office of Planning and Community
Development, 210 Main Street, Room 11, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.,
Monday — Friday, and online at www.northamptonma.gov /opd
Copies of the Notice of Intent and more information may be obtained from the applicant's
representative (Stantec Consulting Services Inc.) by calling (413) 584 -4776 between the
hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm on the following days of the week: Monday — Friday.
Information regarding the date, time, and place of the public hearing may be obtained from the
Office of Planning and Community Development by calling (413) 587 -1263. Hearing notice will
be posted online at www.northamptonma.gov /opd
NOTE: Notice of the public hearing, including its date, time, and place, will published at
least five (5) days in advance of the hearing in the Daily Hampshire Gazette.

the Northampton City Hall not less than forty -eight (48) hours in advance.
