Memo to the Conservation Commission:
Dear Sirs:
I am submitting an amendment to the recent "Notice of Intent" for 115 Bridge Street in
Northampton. After receiving approval (Notice of Conditions) to do the work in the
proposal, I was informed that the work could cause erosion of the banks adjacent to the
floodplain and it was recommended that I build retaining walls to support the banks. The
attached schedule and site plan includes retaining walls the compensatory storage
calculations for the walls. The schedule and storage calculations were produced by
Huntly Engineering. Thank you for your consideration.
