PRICE PROPOSAL FORM ValleyBike Share Program Price
Proposal Form:
Above is a quote which shows our best estimate of the annual operations and maintenance costs, based
on our experience working with 30+ municipal systems, and transitioning many from their past hardware
investments (docks, bikes, etc).
These costs may vary as we physically work through the bikes and stations in your possession, and restart
the system from cold storage.
However, we believe it is best served to have an open conversation during the interview process to
discuss very specific goals and outcomes that would be desirable given our experience and the actual
physical state of the system that we have observed during our site visit.
1.Provide details on achieving interoperability between existing ValleyBike bicycles, stations,
software, and any proposed new equipment or software.
Drop is focused on building sustainable systems and enabling our customers to maximize their existing
investments, before transitioning or expanding in the future.

Replacement parts See below See below
Drop Mobility Page 2
Drop can provide:
•Retrofit kits so that ValleyBike Bewegen Bicycles may be compatible with future docking stations of any
di erent kind
•E-bikes which may fit into future docking stations or modified Bewegen docking stations
•Drop may retrofit Bewegen docking stations and e-bikes to be compatible with universal software
standards, if proprietary software operators are no longer available in the future (through hardware IoT
updates)
•Drop’s e-bikes can be made compatible with Bewegen software (if the 3rd parties are cooperative)
2.If replacement parts are excluded from base operational costs, clearly delineate and itemize each
non-inclusive part along with its associated cost.
Drop conducted a site visit of the Bewegen bikes and docks in storage and in the city. We have noticed
that many of these vehicles are missing components. While we are confident we revive the system and
take advantage of the existing investment, we will need to first conduct an analysis.
This analysis will be a full breakdown of the Bewegen bicycle and dock, and we we can provide a quote for
spare parts which may either a) be available in the market or b) custom built by Drop’s own supply chain
network. This analysis can occur before a contract is signed, if a Bewegen bike and dock is made available
to Drop.
3.Describe the storage of electric pedal-assist bicycles (e-bikes), bike-share stations, and related
equipment, including contingency costs. Ensure e-assist bikes integrate with the current system in
compliance with 15 U.S.C Section 2085.
At Drop, we’ve been operating/supporting operations 30+ systems across North America. In every location
we have directly leased or through a local partner, set up a vehicle maintenance/storage/charging
infrastructure. We will replicate the same model if given a chance to serve your communities.
We have enough experience managing multi-jurisdiction, where there are satellite areas (like in your case,
10+ communities), and facilitate the operational infrastructure to balance everyone’s needs.
Drop has a distribution network across 12+ states to leverage on, including nearby systems to the Pioneer
Valley municipalities.
We can confirm the current system is in compliance with 15 U.S.C Section 2085.
4.Break down annual operations costs, covering system operation, equipment and website
maintenance, re-balancing, user interface and service, user fees, sponsorship, advertising revenues,
and vendor investments.
All marketing and system costs are quoted and included in the form above, but specific requests can be
built separately, as part of the interview and system discovery process.
5.Specify how the required elements outlined in the SLA and Proposal Task Requirements section 2
will be addressed.
As described in question 1, Drop has experience providing a suite of products which can adapt to municipal
needs. Our goal is to advance bike share systems as a whole, and work with partners to understand their
regional goals.
We can confirm that Drop can deliver on all the items outlined in the SLA and Proposal Task Requirements.
