1. All walls on first Floor to be gutted and receive Dry – Pac Cellulose full depth of
stud bay 3-3/4” from the interior with netting and smart membrane
2. Existing house second floor walls which are not being gutted to receive Dry –
Pac Cellulose full depth of stud bay 3-3/4” Drilled from the exterior
3. Existing windows opening on First and second floor on West side to receive
replacement windows. Weight Pockets to be filled with foam
4. Both new and existing cellar walls to receive 2-1/2” Thermax - R-18
5. Under slab in new cellar to receive 2” XPS R -10 on top of 15 Mil vapor
barrier
6. New addition walls to receive Dry – Pac Cellulose full depth of stud bay 5-1/2”
from the interior with netting and smart membrane.
7. Hot Roof – Underside of all new and existing rafters to receive 8” Demilec

accommodate the additional loading from solar panels. An allowance of 5psf was included in the design
of all roof framing to account for the possibility of solar panels being added at a future date.
