Revised Description ol permit apllication| Two-Family Home with attached Garage. 3 Parking spaces required This special permit to allow off-site parking at the closest available Space, which is at 140 Pine Street, approximately 600 feet away. Section 350-8.7 Location of Parking spaces <1000 feet: 2(a) Off street parking will be shared by more than one land use (b) The greater distance is justified because of pedestrian traffic patterns and the vitality of the adjacent land uses that are part of the walk(I personally utilize more thatn one of the businesses at the address that I will be parking; and (c) I am the home owner and I will be parking at this off site parking space, for which I have a fully paid for the first year of the lease agreement. See attached List of Businesses located at 140 Pine Street, and Lease Agreement for off-site Parking space. | Special Permit from Zoning Board to convert existing use of Garage/Storage to Living Space requires Special Permit for off-site parking from Planning Board. To create two parking spaces in front of garage, I plan to widen driveway to 17 feet. Have discussed with neighbors, and have requested lease of parking space from neighbors within 500 feet. There are very few available spaces due to physical geography constraints and built history of Corticelli Street(historic, pre-common use of automobiles and houses built for local factory workers within walking distance). Neighbors universally said no to my request for a parking space lease due to liability exposure/lack of insurance to cover me. Only available parking within 1000 feet along pedestrian ways is at 140 Pine Street, to which I have a verbal agreement to lease a space from said owner.
