Applicant Peter Bienkowski asked this to be added to the project site plan application via an email to OPS staff on 9/26/2023 at 3:19pm. The project is adding a second dwelling at 31C-023
(38 Franklin St.).
"Thank you for allowing this small addition to the application. I thought it might be helpful to note, so that the small scale of this project is properly communicated, that the "primary
creative" in our household is my husband, the author Ocean Vuong, and that the finished space above the garage is primarily intended as an office and workspace for him to be able to
write in. We do understand that because the space incorporates a bathroom (to accommodate long hours of working in the office space) that it shifts the permit into "additional dwelling"
territory, but it is planned as, and will remain, just an office space for quiet writing time. Thank you so much again for your consideration and work towards approving this!"
