Minutes
Members Present: Alan Ells, Matt Pitoniak, Clare Higgins. Peg Keller, staff.
Meeting convened at 5:30 p.m.
Utility Allowances/ Voted (motion made by Member Ells, seconded by Member Pitoniak) to adopt the proposed revisions immediately in order to accommodate the fact that utility allowances
were not considered initially in the crafting of the income parameters for Trust Fund households. See number 3. in Spear letter dated October 25, 2004/ This will hopefully increase
Trust Fund participation. Vote in favor, unanimous.
Housing Authority Turn-Around / Staff will forward comments to NHA and discuss their process with the goal on decreasing the processing time. Motion was made by Member Ells, seconded
by Member Pitoniak. Vote in favor unanimous.
Occupancy Standards/ After discussion, Trust voted to utilized Section 8 Occupancy Standards for determining the amount of Trust Fund subsidy for eligible households. Motion was made
by Member Ells, seconded by Member Pitoniak; vote in favor unanimous.
Establishing a Date for HUD Income Limits/ Member Ells made a motion to establish January 1 to implement HUD income limits, to coincide with the annual market rate rent averaging calculation
that Spear undertakes to establish market rents for the Agreement. Motion seconded by Member Pitoniak, vote in favor unanimous.
