The Affordable Housing Center will provide Northampton tenants and homeowners with a broad range of
options for consumer education, referrals, advocacy and information to assist low and moderate-income
households to maintain housing stability until they are able to attain sustainable homeownership. The
services at the Homeownership Center will help renters who aim to become homeowners by focusing on
their current situation and the mounting challenges that many LMI households face including student loan
debt and high rental costs that effect their ability to attain homeownership. Maintaining a steady track is
essential for these households as they set goals to move forward to a future home purchase.
