At least 30 of these will be youth and young parents and their children. These services respond to the HUD national objective of improving the quality of life for individuals with low and moderate income, and the amended CDBG Consolidated Plan objectives around homelessness prevention, basic needs assistance, and economic empowerment for underserved populations. CDBG funding will support staffing to ensure continuity of these services during the coming year in the context of an ongoing economic crisis stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
