Approve May 19, 2021 minutes- Upon motion by Nick Horton and second by Debin Bruce, the subcommittee voted unanimously, by roll call vote, to approve the minutes. 2. Picture Main Street- A conversation with Toole Design and the Main Street for Everyone- Michael DiPasquale, with Ben Weil, opened the conversation about going beyond “alternative 3,” the proposed right-sizing of Main Street to a three lane cross section with wider sidewalks and cycle tracks, with presentation on the Main Street for Everyone suggestions of more robust tree belt, reducing Main Street to two lanes away from turn pockets and signal stacking lanes, and widening the sidewalks for a more human-centered proposed layout. Lilly Lombard said that trees should be focused on the long term health of new trees, with a band of structured soil underlying the furniture belt along the entire length of Main Street, stressing that this is far more important than preserving existing shade trees, trees with their limited lifespans and their fixed locations that might not work with the future layout. Others contributed and expanded the conversation. Jason DeGray from Toole Design answered questions and explored options, and expressed an interest in both a community walking site visit and additional working meetings. 3. Adjourn- at 9:00 AM
