Baby parks, parklets, as small as 150 square feet, permanent or seasonal, provide a respite and increase walking. Pedestrian/bicycle facilities are almost always less expensive per person mile traveled than road, and sometimes as small as a can of paint or a planter box. The Hot Chocolate Run, Holiday Stroll and events that activate the street promoting exercise and helping us realize how walk- able our city is.
