RE: Staff Report, November 12 2020 Commission Meeting
Requests for Certificate of Compliance:
468 Coles Meadow Road
The request materials indicate that this project; pond dredging to support a trout population, did not
occur. A site visit did not reveal evidence of the work proposed. Issue a certificate of compliance
indicating an invalid Order of Conditions.
55 Dryads Green
The request materials detail compliance with the Order, issued for construction of a permeable
residential driveway in 2019. As indicated, staff approved a shift in the layout of the driveway from
plans approved in the Order that did not result in any additional resource area disturbance, as well
as a French drain outlet in existing lawn. Issue a certificate of compliance, with required ongoing
conditions.
320 Riverside Drive
The request materials detail compliance with the Order, issued for parking lot drainage work and
slope stabilization in 2019. Staff visited the site and confirmed that plantings are healthy, site is
stable, and stormwater features were installed as proposed. Issue a certificate of compliance, with
required ongoing conditions.
17 Hawthorne Terrace
This Order; under the Ordinance only, permitted construction of a house and driveway in 1992, with
requirements that the envelope be confined to an area shown in the permit, and creation of a wetland
replication area. Supplemental photographs and conditions were provided. These do not strictly
meet the Order requirements, but indicate that the work was done according to plans. Specific
conditions:
27: As built plan showing wetlands and all construction including topography and wetlands
replication certified by a professional engineer
A full as-built was not provided; a wetlands assessment and maps were included in supplemental
28: Annual inspection report at the end of each growing season until a certificate is issued
One report was submitted; included in the request documents.
31: No disturbance, including lawn, on the tennis court side of that area shown on plans as the
driveway, except within 5’ of that driveway, and all house and driveway construction must be within
the hatched area
If the Commission finds that sufficient information to demonstrate compliance with the Order has
been provided, a certificate can be issued, with required permanent conditions.
