THIS AGREEMENT, executed this _____day of -XQH, 2020 by and between 0DULRQ([FDYDWLQJ&R
,QF1HZ/XGORZ5RDG6RXWK+DGOH\0$hereinafter called "Vendor" and the City of
Northampton, a municipal corporation in the County of Hampshire, Commonwealth of Massachusetts,
party of the second part hereinafter called "Owner."
WHEREAS, Contract #224-20 ($255,955) covers the work in the base bid and alternatives 1 and 2;
WHEREAS, This contract amendment adds alternative 3 from the original bid to the contract (ramps #28, 29,
and 30);
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for the additional are shown in the initial contract, as amended by
the attached plan and proposal.
The deadline construction substantial completion is extended to August 31, 2020 and fully complete to
September 1, 2020.
THE OWNER shall pay the Vendor for the performance of this contract amendment in
the of sum of Fifty-Two 7KRXVDQGFour+XQGUHGDQGSixty-Two and 72/100 Dollars ($52,462.72)
as a lump sum flat rate (not based on line items) in accordance with the terms of this contract and the
above referenced plans.
EXCEPT AS HEREIN NOTED, all contract terms, conditions, and certifications remain unchanged.

The vendor does not have a Northampton office.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the Owner caused these presents to be signed in quadruplicate and
approved by David Narkewicz its Mayor and the said Vendor has caused these presents to be signed
in quadruplicate and its official seal to be hereto affixed by its officer or agent thereunto
duly authorized (by the attached corporate resolution). This instrument shall take effect as a
sealed instrument.

Change Order 1 Pine Street Ramps 28, 29, & 30.
This pricing is based on 6/12/20 adjusted ramp design & existing project specifications.
Scope of work includes:
Mobilize Equipment.
Furnish & install tree protection.
Furnish & install silt sack & compost tube erosion control .
Furnish & install temporary chain link.
Furnish & install temporary safety signs.
Furnish & install traffic management cones/drums.
Furnish & install temporary accessible pedestrian route.
Police detail as needed.
Saw cut, remove & dispose existing asphalt pavement & sidewalk.
Install previously stacked straight granite curb from temporary laydown yard (Construction Services).
Furnish & install new radius granite curb.
Furnish & install supplemental gravel for fine grading, excluded full depth gravel replacement.
Fine grading for sidewalks & asphalt patching.
Furnish & install cement concrete wheelchair ramps w/detectable warning mats.
Furnish & install asphalt curb patching & 5’x 5’ asphalt sidewalk tie-in patch.
Furnish & install thermoplastic traffic markings.
Furnish & install permanent traffic signs.
Loam & seed disturbed areas.
Curb fabrication & delivery lead time applies.
Thermoplastic markings will be all locations at one time, no separate mobilizations.
