 Waiver for traffic impact mitigation fee Project: 2nd Delling Unit @ 73 North Main St Florence, MA 01062
 To Whom It May Concern, The applicant and homeowner of 73 North Main St is requesting that the traffic impact mitigation fee be waived for this project. We are making this request on the following grounds: -This unit could be classified as an Accessory Apartment, which could be built by right if attached to the primary home in this zone and also built by right as presented in this application in Rural Residential and Suburban Residential. In both of these situation the impact fee would not apply or be reduced because the apartment isn’t a full legal dwelling unit. -The unit is being constructed as a long term home for the homeowner’s son Aidan. Aiden has Downs Syndrome and can not drive. -This unit is walkable to Florence center and the bike path, which will make it less likely that future occupants (~20+ years in the future) will make 1 peak-hour trip per day.
