The applicant is seeking to put a second floor addition onto the first floor.
Compatibility with Zoning:
The house was built with a 5’11” side setback instead of the required 15’ side setback on one side. Therefore
the home must be treated like a grandfathered, non-conforming house. The second floor addition would
extend to the same non-conforming setback.
Under 350-9.3 The Board must find that the vertical expansion of the setback is not substantially more
detrimental to the neighborhood than the existing non-conforming setback.
