The Historical Commission voted 4-0, with one abstention on March 11, 2019 that the
structure is Preferably Preserved pursuant to the demolition review ordinance, and to
institute a one-year delay on demolition. The Commission approved an Alternate Plan to
serve the intent and purpose of the Demolition Review Ordinance. If all elements of the
Plan are met, demolition is approved as part of the Plan.
1) Design of the replacement structure shall include stick style architectural details
from the original structure and/or surrounding neighborhood
2) The Warfield Place elevation shall include a porch, fractured roofline or other
visual break
