Marchefkaexplainedalodgingunitisforshort-termstays, anditwillnothaveastove. CarolynMischexplainedthatwhatconstitutesakitchenisdeterminedbythebuildinginspector. Boardaskediftheunitcouldbeconvertedtoaproperapartment. Marchefkaexplainedthattheunitcouldnotbeconvertedunlessthezoningchanged. He disclosedthatthecitycouldrevokehislicensetorunhisbusinessifheviolatedzoning regulations. Johnsonopensforpubliccomment. Nopublicispresent. JeffSquireofJohnKuhnArchitectspresentedtheapplication. Boardhadquestionsaboutbikerackanddumpsterlocations. Squireexplainedthelocationofthebikerackwasthemostconvenientforvisitorsandthatthe dumpsterissharedbytwobuildings. MishpresentedanissuetobeaddressedintheDPWmemoregardingrequirementsfor23 separatewaterconnectionsforthenewunits. Johnsonopensthepubliccomment. BobKayeofMass. DevelopmentexpressedconfusionovertheDPW'smemoregardingthe requirementof23separatewaterconnections. Kayeexpressedthathedoesnotwantthisaspect ofthememotobeaconditionofboardapproval. Kohoutinquiredaboutwhowouldmaintainthesidewalks, andifunitswillhaveenough drivewayspaceforasecondcar. JeffWrightofWrightBuildersexplainedtheappropriatehomeowner’sassociationwillmaintain thesidewalks, andthattherewillbeenoughpavementforsecondarydrivewayspaces. Johnsonaskedifaphotovoltaicplanwassubmittedforparkinglots.
