NEW BUSINESS
7.1 Meeting with Carl Koslowski —
Carl Koslowsky, Rybak Engineering & Jerry Bradford, Redhawk in attendance.
Carl visited to inspect progress of roughing at request of Dave Cody
Fire protection issues were identified and resolved as follows:
1. The sprinkler heads shown in the elevator mechanical room and the heads shown in the
elevator shaftway were removed and will not be installed, per requirements of the elevator
code.
2. Sprinkler piping was reconfigured accordingly
Redhawk question related to the number of 90-degree bends that the system can withstand, since
skirting the large PSL beams requires 4-90’s at each. Carl confirmed that there was no problem
associated with adding these 90-degree bends to the line to wrap the Steel I-beams in the commercial
portion of the building.
