Install outdoor lights for new basketball court at the school.

CONDITION OF APPROVAL:
1) Lights shall be on a timer set to turn on at dusk and turn off at 9 PM.
2).All lights shall be installed on a motion sensor set to dim during dusk to 9PM when no activity is
taking place on the court.
3). The lights shall have a color temperature rating no bluer than 4500K.
FINDINGS:
The planning Board approved the site plan for outdoor basketball court lighting with greater illumination levels than specified in the
zoning based on the materials submitted with the application and updated at the hearing:
Illumination levels 94'x 56' Basketball Court 240 W option by Lightpolesplus.com dated 10/19/2017.
In approving the plan with conditions, the Board determined that the criteria in 350-11.6 had been met.
A. The requested use protects adjoining premises against seriously detrimental uses. Sight buffers including a grove of trees exist
between the school and the location of the court.
B. The requested use is not changing. There is an additional basketball court that will have illumination allowing night time use:
E. The requested use meets special regulations set forth in this chapter. The Board reviewed the project under 350 12.2 for light levels
that are above standard residential lighting for the purposes of providing extended use of the basketball court.
