Meeting notes 8-14-2018Crocker Building Company Inc. Meeting Notes Project: CheckWriters (Gawith Hall) Date: August 14, 2018 Location: 46 Round Hill Rd Northampton, MA Current Construction Status: • Underground plumbing for the addition has been inspected and backfilled. • MJ Moran has begun piping work in the basement including the underground sanitary. • Wall framing continues throughout the existing building. • Northup Electric has installed panels and wiring layouts are being determined. • MJ Moran’s sheet metal contractor has begun installation of ductwork. • Roof framing for the HVAC unit is under way. • Concrete work will resume on 8/15. New Items: • Additional RFI’s 1, 2, 3, and 4 were sent by Dublin requesting clarification from GNCB, regarding the decking portion of the steel work. 8/14. • Northup to request a meeting with the Power Company to review the transformer clearances. This need to be clarified prior to the layout of the generator and HVAC condensers. 5/14. • Colombia Gas has requested equipment specific gas loads for the project. Max Hebert sent a request 8/15. • Finishes were reviewed and an updated finish schedule was provided on 8/15. • Mike Longo is coordinating the structural component of the roof modification for the rooftop HVAC unit with GNCB. 8/14. • Ted from Northup has requested Jonathon from CheckWriters attend next week’s meeting or schedule a separate meeting to review the IT/Tel Data portion of work. 8/14. • Jim Moran has noted the ice maker for the kitchen will need to have a built in pump drain system as space is extremely tight and will not allow for a floor drain.8/14 • Northup Electric is looking for a appliance list as well as a layout drawing for the gym equipment and TVs. 8/14 • CheckWriters will look into self performing the exterior cleaning of the building.8/14. Open Items: • Install a built-in wall shelve in the showers. 8/7. TDA request these shelves utilize full size tiles. Confirm with Mercier. 8/14. • Lizotte Glass will provide a submittal for the proposed glass wall and glass and aluminum frames. 8/7. Lizotte is providing updated pricing base on the latest drawing.8/14. • The foundation for the entryway wall/ramp will need to be extended. TDA to provide a dimensioned drawing. 7/10, 7/24. TDA will provide and new complete set of construction drawing by 7/10. An updated drawing was provided but additional information needed for the stairs. 8/15. • TDA to develop layout drawing to incorporate the generator, condensers and loading dock surround. 7/24. Review loading dock layout. A dock leveler is the preferred method. Coordinate with the dumpster surround. 7/10, 7/24. 8/7 MJ and Northup are requesting the generator be placed perpendicular to the building. We are waiting on the Power Company. 8/15. • Entry way cabinet heater will be used in the two stairwell entry/ exits. A radiant type heater will be proposed for the two main entryways. 7/24. MJ Moran will provide pricing on the proposed units. 8/7, 8/14. • Hand dryers in bathrooms. Northup to provide the circuits and a determination on fixtures will be made at a later date. 7/24, Crocker to provide blocking for the hand dryers.8/7. Jim Hebert has requested we look into providing recessed units. 8/14. • The grout color to match the existing will need approval from the Architect. Masons will need to create a mock up wall for review. 6/5.6/12, 6/19, 6/26, 7/3. • TDA has provided a new kitchen/ break room layout for approval. Pricing will be solicited after finishes have been selected. 5/22, 6/5, 6/12, 6/19, 7/3. Drawings are out for pricing 8/7. Add the shower bathroom benches to the millwork scope 8/14.
