A Key Plan of the building is provided to the left to assist the Reader. The following was reviewed and discussed: 1. The floor sistering is in progress at all levels. 2. The steel installation is almost complete at the east building. The new W10x along Grid E2 at the second and third floors was discussed. The new beams are only supporting the hallway joists at these locations. The new steel can be substituted for a header consisting of 2-1 ¾” x 9 ¼” LVL. All existing joists must be fastened to the new LVLs with Simpson hangers or 2-A35 clips at each end. 3. The gable roof at the northeast corner of the east building was discussed. The existing girder supporting the gable roof consists of 3, 14” deep members, not two as called out in the structural drawings. The new sisters at this location are not needed. All rafters should have studs down to the existing triple. Submitted by: Amy Jagaczewski Copies to: Sent via: James F.
