The Zoning Board of Appeals granted the the Finding for an expansion in the non-conforming ground floor residential use in the GB
zone based on the materials and plans submitted with the application.
The Findings of the Board under Section 9.3 for the building modifications to convert the long time commercial space of the structure to a
third residential unit were as follows:
1. The Board found that the change would not be substantially more detrimental to the neighborhood than the existing nonconforming
ground floor residential use on the north side of the homer. The structure was originally constructed for residential use.
2. The change would not create any new violation of other zoning provisions; and does not involve a sign.
