The Zoning Board of Appeals granted the Finding for the non-conforming driveway curb cuts based on the materials and plans submitted
with the application.
1. "United Bank, Northampton, Massachusetts, Proposed Site Plan, ZBA Finding, Application Submission," dated October 11, 2007, and
prepared by The Berkshire Design Group, Inc.
The Findings of the Board under Section 9.3 for the conversion of the property with non-conforming driveway cuts were as follows:
1. The Board found that the change would not be substantially more detrimental to the neighborhood than the existing nonconforming
number and widths of the curb cuts. The relocation of the curb cuts along with the reduction in widths and egress control improves the
existing traffic conditions.
2. The Board found that the bank would not create any new violation of other zoning provisions; and does not involve a sign.
