The cost for the permit was $40 and was paid for by check number 754 . Enclosed you will find copies of our master file showing that Mr. Baj never called for any inspections. The inspections that are required would have been: 1. First inspection would have been for the inspection of holes (to verify that they are below 4 foot frost level) . 2 . Second would have been for a framing inspection to verify that deck is fastened properly to existing structure and see any framing that might be concealed later. 3 . Third would have been a final inspection to verify that all handrails, stairs and guardrails are installed and to code. Mr. Baj never called for any of these inspections. The work that he performed was not to code, if any thing can be said it was shoddy and created a hazardous situation which had to be removed.
