CONDITION OF APPROVAL:
1)Prior to the certificate of occupancy the applicant shall submit, as offered, a one-time payment in lieu
of traffic mitigation for the new increased trips $2,000 to be used to offset impacts of additional peak
hour trips generated by the units.
FINDINGS:
The Planning Board approved the Special Permit Amendment to modify the existing space in the detached structure to convert it to 3
residential units that would result in 5 apartments and 4 lodging units. The Board based its decision on the application and plans
submitted:
Historic College Inn, Unique Lodging LLC by Tom Douglas Architects, Inc. dated March 21, 2015
The Board approved the reuse of the structure upon evaluating and determining that provision in the zoning had been met and that
adding two additional units adjacent to downtown was consistent the Sustainable Northampton Plan. No site work other than adding
landscaping and bicycle storage as shown on the plans is proposed.
