RE: System Alterations for New Floor Plan/Canopy
To Whom It May Concern,
We have been contracted by Wright Builders to do some minor system alteration at the River Valley Coop in
Northampton.We will be modifying some sprinkler coverage in the Community Room&Worker's Room.The customer is
looking to move a couple walls and we will have to extend some of the sprinkler coverage accordingly. Based upon the existing
coverage and the proposed floor plan,we do not anticipate having to add additional heads,just simply relocate them so that the
sprinkler spacing integrity is not compromised.There is no occupancy change as both rooms are designed as light hazard
occupancy.
As part of a separate scope at the same building we will be adding coverage to the existing canopy.That canopy is
currently protected by an antifreeze system.We will be adding additional heads to accommodate the expansion. Once the work is
completed we will be recharging and filling the existing loop back with an approved antifreeze pre-mix solution in accordance
with NFPA 13. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at the numbers listed below.
