Please be advised that on August 22, 1983, a representative of the Northampton
Board of Health inspected the apartment of Mrs. Delores Ferrer, Apartment 13,
7 Old South Street, and found that the apartment contained insufficient space
for the two persons currently residing there.
Section 410.400 of Chapter II of the State Sanitary Code requires that there
be a minimum of 250 sq. ft. of living space for two people. Mrs. Ferrer's
apartment contains only 180 sq. ft. and therefore must be considered substandard.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact the Board of
Health Office.
