You will remember John Maslowski from Laurel Park, the house that the city had to tear down. He has been renting in Florence a 1BR apartment since 1984 and the new property manager Steve Robinson called me when he saw it for the first time yesterday. The plumber alerted Steve that he had traced a strong leak and sewage smells to Mr.Maslowskfs dwelling. The kitchen sink basin and trap are rotted out,and the drain lines are not to code and need upgrading(David Capriati is the plumber). The toilet has been inoperable for some time(occupant has been bagging the contents and discardiing in a dumpster for an undetermined amount of time)and a renovation begun months or rears ago in the bathroom was interrupted after the tub was removed and never completed. John presents reasonably clean(sponge baths does laundry out)and very much wants to be left alone(he is not aggressive):you will see that his book collection is probably straining the framing. Call my cell if you want to talk more(579-4007);1'11 copy this to Fire as well(the smoke detector does work but there are definitely egress issues). thanks Ed [Quoted tea hidden' 5 attachments of 8 photo 1.JPG 106K 4/29/2013 9:24 AM i of Northampton Mail- 137 N Main St Florence photo 5.JPG 124K photo 3.JPG 110K photo 4.JPG 129K https://mai1.google.com/mail/u/0/?u1=2&ik=9954d8032f&view pt&q...
