The part they ordered for the hot water heating unit was installed this morning at about 9.00am and the hot was was restored about 12:00pm. You should now have hot water. The part they ordered for the hot water heating unit will be in by 8:00am tomorrow guaranteed. They have hired a plumber to install the part immediately. She (Diane) is going to call me tomorrow when the plumber starts installing the part and than again when it is done. I will call you tomorrow after getting both of her calls to keep you updated. My name is Nicole Young and I live at 20 Hampton Ave. (Hampton Court Apartments)which is located in the city of Northampton. I received your contact information from the Western Regional Health Office (413-586- 7525). I wish to address a concern with you about an incident at our building. For about two weeks, our apartment complex has been without hot water. Our building manager, Diana Vanasse, has posted signs in the lobby apologizing about the hot water problem and informing us that it would be fixed soon. I called her this morning to receive status on the hot water and she informed me that they are "waiting on a part to come in from across the country"and will be fixed as soon as possible. Also this morning, my apartment's shower lost water pressure, making it impossible to sanitized properly to get to work. When I also talked with her this morning about both problems she said to keep on the "look-out"for flyers in the lobby with updates. She also said that the Department of Health has been informed about this problem and the Department of Health has approved their procedures on getting the problem solved. The purpose of this message is to receive justification on these actions. Were they approved/authorized by your office? Was it approved by your office for tenants of this complex to be without hot water for so long? A prompt response to this concern is highly appreciated.
