Those temperature readings are listed below: bathroom 50°F kitchen 61°F living room 52°F child's bedroom 48°F bedroom #2 - 45°F front bedroom 40°F temperature readings taken at 3:30 P.M. on December 14, 1977 in 2nd floor apartment, 17 Cherry Street, Northampton Article II of the State Sanitary Code "Minimum Standards of Fitness for Human Habitation" requires heating facilities capable of heating all rooms of a dwelling unit to a minimum temperature of 68°F. The owner of the building, Mr. Alfred Martinbeault of 53 Sherman Avenue, was ordered to install additional heating facilities. The additional heating facilities were subsequently installed.
