walls,doors,windows,ceilings,roof,staircases,
porches,chimneys,and other structural elements of
his dwelling so that the dwelling excludes wind,rain
and snow,and is rodent-proof,watertight and free
from chronic dampness,weathertight, in good repair
and in every way fit for the use intended.

The owner shall provide for each
habitable room, and room containing a
toilet, bathtub or shower, ventilation to
the outdoors consisting of:
(A)windows,skylights,doors or transoms in the
exterior walls or roofs that can be easily opened to a

Crank handles for the casement windows if present
have stripped meshing gears in handle and are
missing set screws meant to lock handle in place.
This condition renders the window unopenable
which leaves the room without the required ability
to be ventilated. All windows in apartment must
be checked: they must lock,operate(open),and
have screens.

detector not working, no CO detector visible; no
detectors visible at top of stairs outside 20° floor
unit(2"a floor tenants have 2 children/not home at
time of inspection to check their units). CO
detector in basement not noted.

Observed: at least 2 sump pumps feed into
sanitary sewer (not code compliant); licensed
plumber to pull permit and properly install sump
pump discharge line..

Observed: what appears to be an old bulkhead is
covered with a non-opening cover; inside basement
any remains of bulkhead are apparently blocked
up. Evidence in front room of sheet rock having
been installed to finish room but no permit found.
There is to be no use of the basement for any other

meters without a second means of e ress.

in a safe, operable condition and shall keep all exterior
stairways, fire escapes,egress balconies and bridges free
