The electrical system is extremely loud and the lights are blaring in our windows. I was told the train will be parked there, with all the power on, all night, and the plan is to keep the train right where it is for weeks while the workers complete their work. The fumes, noise and light pollution is absolutely unbearable. The person I was told to talk to at Pan Am is Joe Harkins and he is reachable at 1800-955-9208. I really appreciate anything you can do. This is not the first time this has happened. If you recall, there was an article in the Gazette maybe 6 months ago about the train that idled for about 12 hours and they did nothing about it. Sleeping with our windows open to cool down the house was impossible last night and this morning the fumes were also noticeable. My understanding is that the Railroad company need to house their workers in the train. They have not accounted for the fact that they are parked in the middle of a residential neighborhood and that the noise is unbearable for those living only a few yards away. I invite you to send someone to verify what I am saying and to please do something to stop the noise and fume pollution. Thank you Brigitte Parot Resident owner of 50 North St 7/8/2014 12:58 PM
