The Committee approved the 120 square foot rear addition based upon the information submitted with the application.
In granting the permit, the Committee found that the criteria in Chapter 156 of the City's ordinances for additions to landmark buildings
had been met. Particularly these include:
Guideline 7:
Historic landmark and transitional residential buildings should retain their traditional patterns of fenestration on the ground floor.
Guideline 10
landmark buildings, wall surfaces which are visible from streets : Historic building materials should be preserved when present. Such
materials include wood, stone, brick, cast stone, cast iron, and pressed metal.

shall limit its consideration of such an appeal to considering errors of the Committee and shall need a two-thirds vote of its members to
overturn the action of the Committee.
