Dear Jeanne, We are writing to make you aware of our concern in regard to the physical state of our apartment. In the past we have reported over the phone, several times, the deficiencies; i.e. leaking roof in the kitchen, bathroom, as well as the leaking faucet in the bathroom. The leaking in the kitchen is evidenced by the brown water stains and the half fallen ceiling tiles that were replaced on March 2000. Every time someone bathes upstairs we have water coming down from this opening in the roof. In the bathroom, water leaks from the light fixture. This is a concern of safety when water leaks near an electrical source. In the bathroom next to the sink, a water puddle accumulates when it is used. We would appreciate a prompt response to these matters. We know you have been busy in the past and may have overlooked our concerns. Thank you in advance for your consideration . Sincerely, Carla Tome Kim Christensen September 27, 2001 Dear Neighbor, I am writing a short note to ask for your input and collaboration on making a official report about the physical condition of the building. I've lived in this apartment for four years now and recently (2 years) it has being a real struggle to get an appropriate response from the property's management company when things brake. My concern is because I have been living in precarious unsanitary conditions for a while and now I'm afraid, things are starting to get worse because the agency has failed to make the proper repairs since the beginning. In an effort to take some action I will have an inspector from the local health department evaluate the damage and the possible risks of becoming ill. If you have any kind of concerns regarding the condition of your apartment I urge you to take part in this report. We all pay our share we should not have to live under unhealthy conditions. Thanks!
