I4r. Charles W. Dragon, Chairman
Board of Appeals
Northampton, MA 01060
OPINION OF THE PLANNING BOARD IN THE MATTER OF —
Request by Smith College for a special permit to use a former public
utility building as an office building.
The Planning Board, at its meeting of July 6, 1977, voted unani—
mously to express to the Board of Appeals its opinion that the subject
application should be approved. The Board noted that there are a number
of non—residential uses in the vicinity of this property and that the
proposed use is small and therefore unlikely to have a negative impact
on the area.
