The Williamsburg Board of Selectmen at its March 3 meeting unanimously voted to authorize the City of Northampton, acting as its
agent, to apply for a property acquisition grant for the jointly planned bike path.
The Board views this as another important step in moving ahead in the process of bringing a desirable public utility into our town.
Although we had a discussion on Friday regarding our calling McDonough & Scully for a timetable involving delivery of the
engineering plan,l would ask that you share with us your current thinking of the scheduling for the entire bikepath process. Given the
complexitites of the Town Meeting procefte, among other things, we could certainly use your guidance on the steps that need to be
taken over the next year to bring this project to fruition.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
Sincerely,
Frederick K. Goodhue, Chairman
Board of Selectmen
