The Zoning Board granted the special permit for the extension further into the side setback than the existing side of the attached carport
extends based on the information submitted with the application.
The Board made a finding that the change, which includes new zoning violations (further encroachments into the setback, etc.), will not
be substantially more detrimental to the neighborhood than the existing nonconforming single- or two-family structure. The carport will
come 4.25' from the side lot line. The existing carport is 5' from the side lot line.
