1)The permit expires 18 months from the appeal deadline date. (A new application may be made at the
end of or prior to the expiration date).
2). Up to 3 brew days each month of 15 gallon production per batch is allowed.
3). Garage doors must be kept closed during cleaning process.
FINDINGS:
The Zoning Board of Appeals granted the special permit for the start-up beer brewing home business with non-resident partner based
upon the information submitted with the application and at the hearing.
In approving the permit with conditions, the Board found that all aspects of the special permit in Chapter 350-10.12 had been met as
follows:
A. All provisions in the definition of "home business" in § 350-2.1. are met. Based on evidence presented by both the applicant and
analysis by the Department of Public Works, there will not be any significant outward manifestation (such as traffic generation, parking
congestion, noise or air pollution, outdoor materials storage, and public service or utility demand) which is uncharacteristic of or an
additional disturbance to the residential neighborhood in which said property is located.
B. Goods will not be offered for sale from the premises.
C. The hours of operation will be as stated in the application with brew days Saturday or Sunday from 8 AM to 4 PM with weekday work
generally during normal business hours.
D. There will be one partner/ employee working on site who does not live on site.
E. The Board granted an 18 month permit only
F. All special permits for home businesses are nontransferable and are specifically issued to a specific applicant for a specific home
business.
G. There will be no outdoor storage of materials.
