Take the original and 11 copies of the application to the City Clerk's office. The Clerk will keep the original and date starn{p one complete copy of the application. If there are blueprints,the application must include 6 full sets of blueprints,the remaining 6 copies may be reduced copies of the original prints. A Public Hearing will be scheduled and you will receive written notification of die date and time and place of your Public Hearing. Someone must be present at the hearing to explain the application and answer.Iny questions the Board may have. The short time frame for issuing a Finding is two(2)to three(3)months_ The long time flame is four(4)to six 6) months. It is highly recommended that the applicant review the completed application with the staff person of the Zonim Board of Appeals,prior to making the required number of copies and filing the application. The public hearing is conducted,and if all information is complete,the hearing is closed. 4. Once the hearing is closed,the Board has up to 90 days to make a decision on the permit. 5. Once a decision is made,then the Board generally files the decision with the City Clerk's office within fourteen(14)days. 6. After the decision has been filed with the City Clerk's Office a twenty(20)day appeal period begins fcr applications reviewed by the Zoning Board of Appeals. A thirty(30) day appeal period begins for applications reviewed by the Zoning Administrator. 7. Once the twenty(20)or thirty(3 0) day appeal period passes,(without an appeal being filed)the applic int must pick up a Certified copy of the decision from the City Clerk's office and record it at the Registry,)f Deeds. 8.
