2. The applicant has successfully contained soil and debris
from entering Turkey Hill Road by placing hay bales at the
bottom of the slope. Similar measures should be taken during
the construction of the common driveway.

At a meeting held on April 27, 1989, the Planning Board
II of the City of Northampton voted unanimously to GRANT the ?'
request of Frederick R. Mailloux for a Special Permit under
,4 the Provisions of Section 6.12 of the Northampton Zoning '
Ordinance to amend a Special Permit granted on March 24, 1988
to create a Flag Lot, to change from a single driveway for
Flag Lot "A" to a common driveway for Lots "A", "B", and "C",
' and to grant an 18 month extension to allow him to act on
said Special Permit. Present and voting were Chair Nancy P.
Duseau, John Cahillane, E. John Gare, III, Dr. Josef Arnould,
Judith Hale, James Holeva, Marion Mendelson, Andrew Crystal
and Dr. Joseph Beauregard.

The Findings were as follows:
I The use requested is allowed by Special Permit in the
I district for which application is made under the Provisions
of Section 6.12. i
The use requested bears a positive relationship to the
public convenience and welfare, in that one driveway curb-
cut is preferred to three.
nw The use requested will not overload any municipal
systems.
The use requested will not create undue traffic
congestion or unduly impair public safety.
The use requested will not unduly impair the integrity
or character of the district, and if constructed according
x to the submitted plans, will not be detrimental to the
general,gurpos nd.'ntent,of the Ordinance. t
