ADDENDUM
6 . Applicants were granted a building permit on June 13, 1994
to demolish a carport and erect a garage. The carport had
been a legal, pre-existing non-conforming structure. The
garage eaves as built straddled the right boundary line
and a stop work order issued from the building inspector.
Applicants now propose to remove the eaves and also move
the right side wall of the garage an additional 12" away
from the boundary line. The foundation will remain in
place.
7 . The minimum right side setback of the old carport is shown
on the attached "Eaton" plot plan as .96 feet. The
minimum right side set back of the new garage foundation
is shown on the attached "Labarge" plan as .97 feet.
Thus, the setback distance will be slightly increased.
There will be no increase in the non-conforming nature of
the new structure. The change will, therefore, not be
substantially more detrimental than the existing non-
conforming structure to the neighborhood. A finding
should, therefore, be granted.
