6:15 PM No Public Comment
Rick Klein disclosed working relationship with Tom Douglas and asked if there was any problem with
participation. He noted he could review the project without bias.
No members had a problem with the disclosure.
Bruce Kriviskey opened the hearing on the request for amendment to the 57-59 Center Street LLC.
Tom Douglas, representing the applicant, presented the amendments to the plan noting that some of them
were modified to address cost overruns.
Douglas showed the revised window scheme with the transoms and the desire to break up the plate glass
window on the block building with fewer smaller windows to match the abutting structure.
Bob Walker stated that the changes had better rhythm than the previous design.
Bruce Kriviskey noted that the wood façade would be better (as proposed) if the applicant chose that
direction.
Douglas confirmed he was asking for approval of both options (to raise the windows on the block
structure and to leave them in the same location)
Upon noting there was no public comment and a motion by Barry Steeves and second by Rick Klein, the
Board voted unanimously to close the hearing.
Upon motion by Barry Steeves and second by Bob Walker the Board voted unanimously to approve the
permit as presented with both options.
Upon motion by Bob Walker and second by Rick Klein the Board voted unanimously to
approve the minutes of July.
